How to play and further notes

Chicoratch is our name for Scratch projects created by Chicodori.
Some screenshots show earlier versions.

Enjoy the sounds you make with your voice, clapping or an instrument. This activity offers a starting point for playing with those sounds.

Press the space bar in time with the rhythm, or tap the green button on screen. You will hear Japanese food names.

It can be fun even when the timing is a little different!

Try making music that is your own.

Feel free to remix the Scratch project and make it your own.

In a Scratch remix, use the recording feature to replace the sounds with your own voice.
(The original voice was recorded by the creator’s daughter.)

For help with remixing, see the Scratch learning guide (Japanese).

For smoother playback, trim silence from the beginning of each recorded sound, such as the syllables in りんご (apple).

Try creating a Scratch project that is uniquely yours.

Updates
